How to use Cactobud
Deploy Cactobud in the back row, behind a Tank or Guardian, so it can fire the whole lane. As a Grass Tatari it should face Rock Zobos and avoid lanes with Fire Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Cactobud is T1 — the line gets its full kit at Cactoczar, so treat this form as a stepping stone.
Tier verdict for the Cactobud line (B): Grass DPS stacking Sting that implodes on kills; only three stages, so no T4 ceiling.
Cactobud line Horde Invasion skills
In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Cactobud line (only the base skill differs per form).
| Base | Needle Rain: Launches spines to inflict Sting. DMG increases with the number of Sting stacks. |
|---|---|
| Level 3 | Prickly Pace: Periodically gains ATK Speed. |
| Level 5 | Spiny Fans: Launches 3 bursts of fan-shaped spines. |
| Level 7 | Prickly Pal: Periodically summons a cactus ally that fires piercing spines in 8 directions. The spines explode after a delay, dealing small AoE damage. |
