How to use Dazopus
Deploy Dazopus in the back row, behind a Tank or Guardian, so it can fire the whole lane. As a Water Tatari it should face Fire Zobos and avoid lanes with Lightning Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Its skill hits an area, so it likes lanes where Zobos bunch up. Dazopus is T2 — the line gets its full kit at Fishopus, so treat this form as a stepping stone.
Tier verdict for the Dumbopus line (B): Water DPS with an Octobuddy summon; Dazopus/Fishopus are fine, rarely first choice.
Dumbopus line Horde Invasion skills
In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Dumbopus line (only the base skill differs per form).
| Base | Fishy Form: Launches a water orb that deals damage. Occasionally launches a large water orb that deals AoE damage and summons a small octopus, which deals AoE damage when knocked down. |
|---|---|
| Level 3 | Ink Splatter: Attacks have a chance to launch an extra ink bomb, dealing AoE damage with a chance to inflict Blind. |
| Level 5 | Force Field: Periodically creates an expanding force field, granting DMG Reduction to allies in range. |
| Level 7 | Octo-Nuke: Drops an octopus nuke that deals large AoE damage. Prioritizes attacking the weakest boss and deals extra damage to the center of the battlefield. |
