How to use Hootlet
Deploy Hootlet in the middle or back row next to the allies it supports — buffs and heals only reach neighbours. As a Grass Tatari it should face Rock Zobos and avoid lanes with Fire Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Its skill hits an area, so it likes lanes where Zobos bunch up. It applies crowd control, which buys time for slower damage dealers behind it. Hootlet is T1 — the line gets its full kit at Hypnostrix, so treat this form as a stepping stone.
Tier verdict for the Hootlet line (B): Grass Support that drops a slowing terrain field; strong in Horde waves, slow to evolve.
Hootlet line Horde Invasion skills
In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Hootlet line (only the base skill differs per form).
| Base | Dawn Call: Creates an AoE terrain in front. Enemies in the terrain take damage and are inflicted with stackable Slowdown. |
|---|---|
| Level 3 | Timed Therapy: Periodically heals nearby allies, with heal frequency occasionally increased. |
| Level 5 | Winged Rewind: Periodically records the positions of enemies in range. After a period of time, moves enemies to their recorded positions. |
| Level 7 | Circle of Life: Summons owl allies whose tiers do not exceed this Tatari's own. Summoned allies move across the battlefield and continuosly deal AoE damage. |
Horde verdict (B): Level 5 rewinds enemy positions, level 7 summons owl allies — fun, situational.
