Tikowl – Grass Support

In-game bio: “Tikowl loves answering all kinds of questions, including 'Why do humans hunt and return empty-handed?' and 'Who should settle Tatari disputes, trainers or Tatari?' Er, beats me anyhow.”

How to use Tikowl

Deploy Tikowl in the middle or back row next to the allies it supports — buffs and heals only reach neighbours. As a Grass Tatari it should face Rock Zobos and avoid lanes with Fire Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Its skill hits an area, so it likes lanes where Zobos bunch up. It applies crowd control, which buys time for slower damage dealers behind it. Tikowl is T2 — the line gets its full kit at Hypnostrix, so treat this form as a stepping stone.

Tier verdict for the Hootlet line (B): Grass Support that drops a slowing terrain field; strong in Horde waves, slow to evolve.

Hootlet line Horde Invasion skills

In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Hootlet line (only the base skill differs per form).

BaseDawn Call: Creates an AoE terrain in front. Enemies in the terrain take damage and are inflicted with stackable Slowdown.
Level 3Timed Therapy: Periodically heals nearby allies, with heal frequency occasionally increased.
Level 5Winged Rewind: Periodically records the positions of enemies in range. After a period of time, moves enemies to their recorded positions.
Level 7Circle of Life: Summons owl allies whose tiers do not exceed this Tatari's own. Summoned allies move across the battlefield and continuosly deal AoE damage.

Horde verdict (B): Level 5 rewinds enemy positions, level 7 summons owl allies — fun, situational.
