Voltreaver – Lightning Guardian

How to use Voltreaver
Deploy Voltreaver in the front row, where it absorbs the first Zobos of each wave. As a Lightning Tatari it should face Water Zobos and avoid lanes with Rock Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. Its skill hits an area, so it likes lanes where Zobos bunch up. Voltreaver is the final form, which is where the line's rank is judged.
Tier verdict for the Voltkit line (A): Official guide: weak before T3, then a "strong meta pick" — Invincibility on attack lets it dodge while dealing damage, excellent in Dojo where ranged frontliners dominate. Investment before T3 is not recommended.
Voltkit line Horde Invasion skills
In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Voltkit line (only the base skill differs per form).
| Base | Duskrush: Unleashes a shadow attack, dealing AoE damage. |
|---|---|
| Level 3 | Phantom Hit: Attacks have a chance to trigger an extra shadow hit, which can continue to trigger follow-up shadow hits. |
| Level 5 | Target Lock: Marks 1 enemy and deals continuous AoE damage around the target. |
| Level 7 | Bolt Slash: Disappears briefly and travels across the battlefield, dealing large AoE damage. |
Horde verdict (A): Level 7 "Bolt Slash" crosses the whole battlefield with large AoE; official guide: only worth considering after T3 — but strong there.
