Frostpaw – Water DPS

In-game bio: “Frostpaw is used to a quiet life... Except for that one time [[Pyrohound|Pyrohound's]] flames got a little too close, and a yelp escaped before Frostpaw could stop it.”

How to use Frostpaw

Deploy Frostpaw in the back row, behind a Tank or Guardian, so it can fire the whole lane. As a Water Tatari it should face Fire Zobos and avoid lanes with Lightning Zobos — the game shows a green thumb when the match-up is right. It applies crowd control, which buys time for slower damage dealers behind it. Frostpaw is T2 — the line gets its full kit at Frostluna, so treat this form as a stepping stone.

Tier verdict for the Frostnip line (S): Slow on every ice block, AoE spread at higher forms and Aura: Water at Frostluna; the wiki calls it a "surprisingly good Water DPS" and it is the safest control project for a new account. Frostique's trial needs Chapter 8 Stage 80.

Frostnip line Horde Invasion skills

In Zobo Horde Invasion every Tatari learns three extra skills at Horde levels 3, 5 and 7; they are shared by the whole Frostnip line (only the base skill differs per form).

BaseFrost Block: Fires an ice block that slows enemies.
Level 3Ice Burst: Attacks have a chance to fire an extra Ice Block, dealing AoE damage with a chance to inflict Freeze.
Level 5Ice Scatter: Periodically fires scattered icicles that inflict Slow on enemies.
Level 7Frost Path: Paves an ice path forwards, dealing wide-range AoE damage with a chance to inflict Freeze.

Horde verdict (A): Level 3 ice blocks can Freeze, level 5 scattered icicles Slow, level 7 "Frost Path" paves a wide-range Freeze lane — the best control line for the water-countered Fire bosses (waves 3, 10, 14, 21, 23, 29).
