Clash of Critters Camp & Decorations Guide

How the camp grows

The camp is the peaceful hub where your Tatari wander (and where pinball Visit/Feed/Raid minigames take place). Since the May 27, 2025 update it is freely decoratable; buildings no longer upgrade visually — instead every boss star clears one tile (tap the star-and-shovel patch at the edge). Camp expansion also pays pinballs, and the Jul 29, 2026 patch added all previously expansion-only buildings to the Building Shop once you meet stage requirements.

Functional pieces to place first

  • Pinball Trees — up to 8 (boss-star upgrades), your main pinball income.
  • Bento Maker — unlocked after stage 1-70; makes feeding food.
  • Auto Feeder — v0.46 tech; feeds up to 3 Tatari a set food daily.
  • Card Museum — Jul 29, 2026; displays sleeved album cards.
  • Tatari Canteen — feeding, from 8 boss stars.

Island design (Goldrush base) and camp layout ideas

Layout has no stat effect, so “island design” is about readability and vibe: keep functional buildings near the camper van so minigame visitors find Tatari quickly, group a set’s pieces together (the shop sells them as themes for a reason), and leave walkways — the Aug 12 patch fixed Tatari getting stuck behind trees during Visit minigames, but dense decoration still hides the five Tatari your friends must find. Screenshots of notable camps circulate on r/ClashofCritters; share yours there.

Easter eggs

Several decorations reference Tatari (Capy-Spring → Capywata, heated by Sparkeets) and the in-game descriptions changed after the March 2026 rename — the wiki keeps both texts.
