Clash of Critters Card Album Guide: Packs & Trading
How albums work
- Cards come from card packs, earned in events such as Marathon Party and Treasure Hunt (and the Star Shop).
- Each set has 9 cards; collecting all of them pays set rewards; collecting every set pays the grand prize (Best Buddies: 5,000 pinballs, 20 Glitter Fruit and an avatar frame; the New Journey and Summer Bash frames are permanent).
- Duplicates give Stars equal to the card’s star level; Stars buy packs in the Star Shop.
- The Jul 29, 2026 patch added the Card Museum — preserve cards with Card Sleeves (earned by completing sets) to keep them at camp after the album ends, view friends’ museums, and batch-open packs.
Pack types and odds
| Pack | Cards | 1★ | 2★ | 3★ | 4★ | 4★ Gold | 5★ | 5★ Gold |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 2 | 50% | 31.5% | 15% | 2% | 1% | 0.3% | 0.2% |
| Standard | 3 | 40% | 30% | 20% | 6% | 2.2% | 1.2% | 0.6% |
| Deluxe / Rainbow | 4 / 5 | 15% | 22.5% | 37.5% | 11% | 7.5% | 4% | 2.5% |
Rainbow packs guarantee one card you do not own (or a Gold card if you own everything).
Gifting, exchanging and the exchange log
You can gift a duplicate to a player who lacks it, or post an exchange asking for a card you lack; only blue (regular) cards trade daily — Gold cards trade only during announced windows (48-hour notice, then one day). There are 3 gift/exchange attempts per day (Best Buddies rules; failed or cancelled trades do not count), each successful trade also pays 1 Star (20 Stars/day cap from trades), and a lime star with an exclamation marks a new trade you can fulfil in chat. “How to get off the exchange log” — the log lists your posted offers; cancel the pending exchange from the card’s trade screen (the card-exchange cancel option) and the entry clears once it is no longer pending.
Star Shop
100 Stars: Standard pack + 2 capsules + 324k candy · 250 Stars: Deluxe pack + 5 capsules + 811k candy · 500 Stars: Rainbow pack + 10 capsules + 1,623k candy.
Sets (Best Buddies example)
Eight sets of nine (72 cards): Solpear (1–9), Cindermunk (10–18), Dozy (19–27) and five more, each telling one Tatari’s story (“Plank Pear”, “Pearpair Trouble”, “Pinecone Surf”, “Cozy Dozy”…). Summer Bash (Jul 29 – Sep 2026) follows the same shape; community guides discuss resetting set progress for the album — we have not verified a reset mechanic and do not recommend relying on it.
